Meet the Loadmaster Staff

Loadmaster Trailer Co. Ltd., located in beautiful Port Clinton, Ohio, is a family owned and operated manufacturing business specializing in custom boat trailers. Gary and Diane Straw purchased the company in August of 1997. Within their first year of ownership they doubled trailer sales while increasing the strength and customization of every trailer. Over the years Loadmaster has built thousands of high-quality boat trailers — each built to order for the boat’s specifications and the customer’s needs.

As a small family business, Gary and Diane’s children began working for Loadmaster part-time upon purchase. After college, both Gary Jr. and Megan joined full-time and now share ownership with their parents. Gary Jr. earned a degree in Human Resource Management in 2003; Megan earned her Marketing degree in 2005.

Loadmaster has grown and diversified over the years, but one thing has stayed consistent: the Straw family’s dedication to building an excellent, strong, quality product with a stellar focus on customer service.
